The white and blue- green curls on a large round bead became white caps swirling around boulders in a stream-bed. At her suggestion I perceived an oak tree growing on the top of a knoll, its branches covered with golden leaves in autumnal afternoon sunlight. She picked up a smaller oval pendant, placed it in her palm, and held it so I could recognize the moon peeking through soft yellow and pink clouds, spherical and mounded like bubbles.
